The Ocean Mapping Expedition was conceived and implemented by the Fondation Pacifique, a Geneva-based, Swiss non-profit organization declared to be of public utility. The Fondation Pacifique was set up in 2007 by a small group of men and women united by their love of the high seas and adventure, and driven by a powerful spirit of enterprise and community service.
